Contractor Scope
Defined work and planning
The City’s as-needed contract produced documented assignments at Pacific Park and Wilshire Square without implying that SoCal Removal repaired the City’s entire monument system.
- Protect public-right-of-way work areas using the required cones, barricades, delineators, coverings, and pedestrian controls.
- Refurbish four Pacific Park neighborhood monuments and complete the City’s final punch-list items.
- Reconstruct the documented Wilshire Square monument location to match the approved neighborhood plan and surrounding monument character.
- Procure and install authorized custom components, including replacement lettering, nameplates, City tiles, and bronze plaques where included in the issued work.
- Complete cleaning, graffiti removal, finish touch-up, and protective treatment where specifically authorized.
- Remove debris, document progress with photographs, and arrange final City inspection and closeout.
Execution
Two neighborhoods, assignment-specific work
Pacific Park work centered on four monument refurbishments, finish consistency, custom lettering and City plaques. Wilshire Square work included reconstruction of a defined monument location and separate lettering assignments. Material samples and fabricated components were reviewed before installation, and the Pacific Park punch list was completed before the City’s final inspection.
