Contractor Scope
Defined work and planning
The work combined commercial and industrial structure removal with environmental planning, utility work, selective clearing, protection of designated improvements, and public-works closeout.
- Demolish and remove approximately 10,500 square feet of designated single-story structures at the former commercial and industrial property.
- Coordinate pre-demolition environmental requirements and the project’s AQMD notification with the assigned parties.
- Use a qualified subcontractor to complete the identified mastic and vent-pipe abatement at the main Anaheim Boulevard building before structural demolition.
- Remove designated utilities and complete required utility capping at the property line.
- Remove designated signs, planters, interior fencing, vegetation, root balls, and related site improvements.
- Protect designated asphalt, concrete, and electrical poles required to remain.
Execution
Preparing the site for City improvement
SoCal Removal managed the sequence from environmental prerequisites and City review through utility isolation, structural demolition, debris handling, selective clearing, and protection of improvements that remained. The cleared property was prepared for the City’s next phase of site improvement.
